Jess Wilson (Director) has over 25 years of professional and community theater experience as an actor, tech, designer, producer, playwright, and director. Most recently, she’s directed two tours of How To Survive A Zombie Apocalypse (WatermelonAlligator Theatre Company), Much Ado About Nothing (Midsummer Shakespeare), Twelve Angry Men (Plymouth Community Theatre), and Cabaret (Buzzards Play Productions). A familiar face to local audiences, Jess was in last season’s Lost in Yonkers here at NRP! Favorite roles include Titania (A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Midsummer Shakespeare), M’Lynn (Steel Magnolias; PCT), Lenny (Crimes of the Heart; Bay Players), Dogberry (Much Ado About Nothing; PCT), and Megan Singer (EA Kafkalas’ Lopsided; world premiere, CCTC, Pennsylvania). Jess is the Managing and Artistic Director for WatermelonAlligator Theatre Company and serves on the managing Board for Midsummer Shakespeare. In addition to her careers in healthcare and theater, Jess is also a musician, artist, and author.
